In 2009, I was given the task of encouraging Australians to exercise more in a non-traditional format. The hypothetical brief was set on behalf of the Australian Government Department of Health.
In Australia, an average of 15 people die each day from obesity and overweight related illness. Almost half of the population is overweight and Australia has the sixth highest obesity rate in the world. My solution sought to show Australians that they may be part of these statistics and suggest simple ways of avoiding it.
This idea was developed during AWARD School in 2009.
